SP2020 socialization at ISBI Aceh Campus

This activity was carried out in the hall of the campus of the Indonesian Art and Culture Institute (ISBI), Aceh, located in the City of Jantho. The event was opened by the Head of BPS Aceh Besar, Mr. Irnanto, ST, MM. In his remarks, he said the purpose of holding a population census was to realize an Indonesian data that provided data on the number, composition, distribution, and characteristics of the Indonesian population.

In addition, this activity also aims to form a sample framework that is used in statistical activities over the next 10 years, obtain demographic parameter data for the purposes of population projection, and as a basis for establishing regional plans and policies.

This activity was attended by 80 participants consisting of students, staff and academics from ISBI Aceh. The socialization material was delivered by the Head of Social Section, Hafizh Meyzar Aqil, SST. This activity ended with quizzes and distribution of dorprize to winners and active participants. The event was closed by the ISBI Aceh rector, Ir. Syahrizal, MT. He hopes that with this activity, students can play an active role in socializing the 2020 population census activities to close / distant relatives, friends, and relatives and can help fill in population data online.
