2020 Population Census?
The Population Census is the largest census conducted by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) to record the entire population of Indonesia every 10 years. SP2020 became the seventh SP implemented in Indonesia.
Why should the Population Census be conducted?
This activity aims to provide data on the number, composition, distribution and characteristics of the Indonesian population. SP2020 data is needed as a basis for development planning up to the smallest area. Various government assistance programs for the community will certainly also require population data generated by SP2020.
What is the 2020 Population Census Data Collection Method?
CAWI (Computer Assisted Web Interviewing) Method:
The community updates their personal data independently on the website sensus.bps.go.id which can be carried out starting February 15 - March 31, 2020.
CAPI (Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing) Method:
Enumeration is done by using a gadget by visiting each respondent. The implementation will take place in July 2020.
PAPI (Paper And Pencil Interviewing) Method:
Enumeration is done by using a questionnaire by visiting the Respondents. The implementation was carried out in July 2020.
