Sahabat Data, Village development must be a priority in national development because it is closely related to efforts to build Indonesia from the periphery by strengthening regions and villages within the framework of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). “Building from villages and from below for economic equality and poverty eradication”, is the 6th (sixth) point of President Prabowo's Asta Cita. But of course, development will not have the right direction if it is not based on accurate and correct data.
In 2025, the Central Bureau of Statistics will conduct the Updating of Village Development Data or hereinafter referred to as Village Potential (PODES). This activity is expected to be able to describe the potential of an area at the village level throughout Indonesia.
One of the first steps in the implementation of PODES 2025 activities, BPS Aceh Besar District held training for officers who will later go directly to the villages to collect PODES data.
The PODES 2025 Data Collection Officer Training was carried out using the Hybrid method, on May 21, 2025 it was carried out online, on May 22, 2025 offline or face-to-face training was held at the Pade hotel which was opened by Plh. Head of BPS Aceh Province Mr. Oriza Santifa S.Si., M.Si by saying that the PODES 2025 Officer Training aims to equalize the concepts and definitions of data collection variables and understand the governance of data updating implementation.
